Our fuses have changed. Now all of them are transparent und you are able to see the fuse wires. Why is that? 

The raw material used to make the fuse body and the three-part design of our fuses 2048xx and 3048xx lead to a significant increase in production costs. To continue to deliver fuses of OE quality with competitive prices we saw the need to change materials and the design of our fuses as well. During the past years, improvements have been made to the material used to manufacture the fuse bodies, so that nowadays fuses with a solid body are equal to those with a transparent one.

But all other fuses as well, like BF1, BF2, glass fuses or Japanese fuses, will now be shipped in our new plastic box.
