Battery relays
Voltage Sensitive Battery Relay for simultaneous use of two 12 volt batteries.
The Voltage Sensitive Relay allows two batteries to be charged at the same time.When the engine is running the two battery banks (start and house) can be charged simultaneously. When the voltage drops below 12.65 volts (engine is not running) the relay drops out, separating the batteries. This system prevents the starter battery from draining and protects sensitive electronic equipment powered by the house battery against harmful engine start-up spikes. Additionally, the relay prohibits both batteries from draining each other after a prolonged downtime.
The optional Boost-Switch allows both batteries to be interconnected when the individual charging level is too low to start the vehicle.
